Sean Harrigan is an accomplished operations professional with extensive experience in leading organizations through mergers and acquisitions, driving market share as well as revenue growth, and building high-performing organizations. Sean has more than thirty years of domestic and international experience in a variety of Executive, C level and consulting assignments for publicly as well as privately held organizations.
As President and CEO of B&B Electronics, Sean completed three strategic acquisitions in nine months adding product line depth, geographic diversity and critical channel partner relationships. These enabled B&B Electronics to deliver world-class, wired and wireless, industrial M2M (machine-to-machine) data communications technologies to network-enable legacy equipment, extend network connections, and embed network connectivity into applications where reliability in rugged or hostile environments is critical.
Prior to joining B&B Electronics, Sean was the President and CEO of Nexergy a leading designer, integrator, and manufacturer of custom battery packs and battery chargers that enable portable electronic products to be more dependable, smaller, lighter, and longer running.
Sean came to the Graham portfolio of companies from Laird Technologies, a $1.2 billion multinational operation based out of St. Louis, Missouri where he was the Senior Vice President for Sales, Marketing and Business Development. Prior to integrating the market facing activities for Laird’s six business divisions, he was the General Manager of the EMI business unit with responsibility for 20 operations and 21 sites generating $153 million in revenue globally. During his four-year tenure, this business experienced explosive revenue growth to $481 million while reducing the operations footprint to 12 operations and 18 sites.
Sean has held leadership roles with Brush Engineered Materials, Berg Electronics and E.I. DuPont de Nemours and has been fortunate to have been engaged in more than eighteen acquisitions and divestures with organizations in the United States, Czech Republic, England, Ireland, France, China, Taiwan and South Korea. He has also taken on expatriate assignments for Berg Electronics as well as E.I. DuPont.
Sean is a Board member of the Burnt Store Isles Canal Advisory committee and a former member of the Future Selling Institute Advisory Board, and the Electronics Representatives Association (ERA) Manufacturer’s Advisory Committee. He has participated as a conference speaker with the Private Equity International Operating Partners Forum, the Electronic Representatives Management and Marketing Conference as well as the EDS Summit. He is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University and a resident of Punta Gorda, Florida.
