As Executive Vice President, Mr. Huston is responsible for preparing our clients to go to market, working closely with the client to prepare all of the offering materials and the prospective buyer lists to be used to make a market for their company. Mr. Huston serves as the client’s trusted advisor throughout the sale process, engaging with and qualifying prospective buyers, soliciting and negotiating offers for their business, facilitating meetings, managing the due diligence and legal process, all the while protecting the client’s interests to assure the successful completion of the sale process and their ultimate transition from the business. Mr. Huston has almost 30 years of middle market acquisitions experience over twenty of which was representing buyers of middle market companies. This experience uniquely qualifies him to understand the sale process from a buyer’s perspective and represent our selling clients in a very effective manner.

He was a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of AmSouth Capital Corp., a middle market acquisition finance and advisory firm. In this capacity, Mr. Huston was responsible for the underwriting and transacting of over $5 billion in acquisitions and assisting his private equity clients in acquiring middle market businesses in a wide variety of industries. Prior to this, Mr. Huston was a Co-Founder and Senior Vice President of NatWest USA Credit Corp., another middle market acquisition finance and advisory firm.

Mr. Huston earned his B.S. in Finance from Lehigh University, Bethlehem, PA and attended post graduate Executive Management Programs at both The Harvard Business School and The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
